{Rachael + Christian}

It's been a while since I've done any portrait sessions! I missed it so much. 

Last night I spent a couple hours strolling around picturesque canals and parks taking photos of Rachael and Christian. She's an American expat I met through my blog, and he's the Dutch boy who stole her heart and brought her to the Netherlands over two years ago. 

These two are getting married in Mexico next year, but wanted some photos in Amsterdam as it obviously holds a very special place in their hearts.

I had so much fun with them. Mixing Christian's dry sense of humor with Rachael's infectious laugh made for a very smiley (and smoochy) evening :)

Here are just a few of my favorites from this session! We lucked out with a gorgeous summer night & some incredible light.

{Sneak Peek: Evelyn Zoe}

I'm so beyond grateful Evelyn Zoe decided to show up a week early so I could meet her! She is the cutest little thing I've ever seen! Talk about baby fever. Meghan and Jeff make first-time parenthood look easy :) I'm only sharing a few for now as I know Meghan and Jeff are planning on using one of the photos I took for their birth announcement and I don't want to ruin the surprise, but I just had to brag and share at least a couple! 


Meghan and Jeff - You made an incredibly beautiful and precious little girl. She is so ridiculously lucky to have you both as parents. I can't wait to watch Evelyn grow, watch how she changes your life and witness the love you clearly have for each other now multiply for this little one. Congratulations!

{Forrest Family}

This past weekend was a beautiful one in Amsterdam. I got to take advantage of the stunning weather and photography the Forrest family right in the heart of Amsterdam. The light was perfect and their little boy is the cutest. To say I had a great time would be an understatement! Here are a few of my favorite snaps!

{Little Baby Lucy}

The thing I like most about my job is how much I truly love the people I work with. One of those people is Lisa. Her and her husband, Tom, recently welcomed their first baby into the world, Lucy Rose. She is such a precious little bebe and hardly fussed at all during the whole time we were shooting. I'm so lucky I have such wonderful people in my life who let me practice this hobby I love so much :)
